The Bilt Blue Card has no annual fee† and earns up to 4X at Bilt dining partners, 3X on hotels through Bilt Travel, 3X on Lyft, 2X on flights through Bilt Travel, and 1X on everything else.¹ It’s the entry point for renters and people who love redeeming valuable points for travel. The Bilt Obsidian Card ($95/year†) earns 4X on hotels through Bilt Travel, 3X dining or grocery (up to 6X at Bilt dining partners; grocery up to $25k/year), 3X on flights through Bilt Travel, 2X on other travel, and includes a $100 annual Bilt Travel Hotel credit.¹ Built for cardholders who spend heavily in one food category. The Bilt Palladium Card ($495/year†) earns up to 5X on Bilt dining, 4X on hotels and 3X on flights through Bilt Travel, 4X on Lyft, 2X points on all everyday purchases, provides $200 in annual Bilt Cash, a $400 annual Bilt Travel Hotel credit, and Priority Pass lounge access at 1,300+ airports.¹,² All three cards have no transaction fee on rent, mortgage and HOA and can also earn up to 1.25X points on rent and mortgage payments when housing-only rewards are selected.¹ All multipliers (excluding rent and mortgage) are inclusive of the Bilt loyalty membership and the Bilt Card multiplier earns.
Bilt Cash can be used at Bilt partner merchants, including Lyft, eligible hotel bookings through Bilt Travel, fitness studios like Soul Cycle, Grubhub credits, Walgreens credits, Bilt Collection items, and GoPuff deliveries. Redemption amounts may be subject to per-category limits. These credits are available to all Bilt members, and are accelerated for Bilt cardholders. Bilt Cash can also be used to unlock one-time transfer bonuses, status upgrades, and early access to member experiences and on a point accelerator that adds 1X to your category spend up to $5,000 for the Obsidian and Palladium cards.³ All redemptions are made directly in the Bilt app or on bilt.com. Bilt Cash expires December 31st each calendar year; up to $100 carries over to the next year.³
Yes. Every Bilt Card lets you earn rewards on rent and mortgage payments made through Bilt with no transaction fee. If your landlord doesn’t accept credit cards or charges a fee for using a credit card, you’ll be able to avoid the fee using Bilt Card features. The Bilt Card unlocks ACH by providing account and routing numbers, integration with Venmo, and can send a check on your behalf. No transaction fee. No payment portal convenience fee. Your landlord won’t know the difference.
Open the Bilt app and go to the Home tab. Select “Add a mortgage” and search for your servicer. If Bilt supports your servicer directly, you can link your mortgage account and make payments without any additional setup. If your servicer isn’t directly supported, Bilt provides a dedicated BillPay account — including routing and account numbers — that you add as a payment method in your servicer’s portal. The mortgage payment is made using the card, processed by your mortgage provider as a standard ACH transfer to your servicer, transaction fee free, and then the funds are debited from your linked bank account within 24 hours. Allow at least 3 business days for your servicer to receive the payment. Almost all personal mortgage servicers are supported. If your servicer requires a bank name for BillPay, it is “Column N.A. for the benefit of Bilt’s Customers.” Only eligible residential mortgages are supported, while commercial mortgages are not supported at this time.
Your landlord or servicer simply receives a standard payment — nothing indicates any complexity on their end. If you pay via Venmo through Bilt, the payment arrives to your landlord from “Bilt Technologies,” not your personal Venmo account. If you pay via ACH or add the Bilt BillPay account to your payment portal, the payment appears as a standard account transfer from Column N.A. If your servicer requires a bank address, it is: 1100 Gorgas Avenue, Suite A4-700, San Francisco, CA 94129. If Bilt sends a check on your behalf, it is mailed directly to your landlord or property manager at the address you provide.
As a Bilt cardholder, when you pay through Bilt you can bypass your landlord’s credit card fees entirely. Bilt provides an account and routing number that Bilt cardholders can input into their payment portal to avoid transaction fees. The Bilt Card can process the payment to your landlord via ACH providing an account and routing number, Venmo, PayPal, or check — all avoiding a direct card charge. The funds will be debited from your linked bank account. Your landlord receives the same payment they always would.
Yes - points can post automatically to your account for rent and mortgage payments. If you choose Housing-only rewards: There is no action required each month. Your multiplier (up to 1.25X) is determined at the end of each billing cycle based on how much you spent on everyday purchases relative to your housing payment.¹ If you choose Flexible Bilt Cash: Points on housing (up to 1X points) are unlocked by redeeming Bilt Cash — a separate currency you earn at 4% back on everyday purchases.¹ Every $30 of Bilt Cash you redeem means 1,000 Bilt Points. Can I earn points on both rent and a mortgage at the same time? Yes. You can pay rent and mortgage for multiple properties through Bilt simultaneously and earn rewards on all eligible housing payments. There is no annual cap on housing payment amounts and no limit to the number of properties you can pay through Bilt.¹
Bilt Points are rated the most valuable rewards points with The Point Guy valuing them at 2.2 cents each. They are redeemable in several ways, with value varying by redemption method. The highest-value redemptions are typically through Bilt’s 28 airline and hotel transfer partners, which include major domestic and international airline programs and leading hotel loyalty programs. Points transfer at a 1:1 ratio for Bilt travel partners. Other redemption options include: booking travel through the Bilt Travel Portal, applying points toward future rent or mortgage payments, redeeming for Lyft rides, fitness classes, statement credits, eligible student loan payments, and contributing toward a home down payment. For a complete and current list of transfer partners and redemption options, visit bilt.com/rewards.
Yes — and this is where Bilt Cards stack points in ways most rewards cards cannot match. Every Bilt Card earns bonus points at all these partners in the Bilt ecosystem, layered on top of the card’s base earning rate. At Bilt Neighborhood Dining restaurants — 20,000+ participating locations — you earn bonus Bilt Points per dollar on top of your card’s standard earn rate. The bonus varies by restaurant and is shown in the Bilt app at the time of your visit. No activation required — just pay with your linked Bilt Card.¹ On Lyft, linking your Bilt and Lyft accounts earns an additional 2X Bilt Points per dollar on eligible rides. Combined with your card’s base earn rate, Blue and Obsidian cardholders earn 3X total on Lyft, and Palladium cardholders earn 4X total.¹ Through the Bilt Travel Portal, booking hotels earns +2X and flights +1X bonus Bilt Points on top of your card’s base rate. The stacked rate is shown at checkout in the Bilt app and at biltrewards.com/travel.¹ These neighborhood benefits stack on top of — not instead of — your card’s everyday earning rate, and are available on all three Bilt Cards.
Yes. Bilt Cash expires on December 31st of the calendar year in which it was earned³ — including Bilt Cash earned in November and December. Up to $100 of your Bilt Cash balance rolls over to the following year. Any amount above $100 expires at year-end.³ Practical note: if you consistently earn more Bilt Cash per month than you can redeem against your housing payment, consider also using it at partner merchants throughout the year so it doesn’t expire unused.
No. The 5-transaction monthly minimum was a requirement of the original Bilt Card and does not apply to any Bilt Card 2.0 product. With Bilt Card 2.0, there is no transaction minimum to earn on housing. How many points you earn on rent or mortgage depends entirely on which rewards option you’ve selected — not on how many times you’ve used the card that month.
Approval decisions are made by our bank partner based on your credit profile including score, income, existing debt obligations, and credit history. Bilt does not publish minimum score requirements. There is no credit score impact to apply and see if you are approved. If your application is under manual review, it has not been declined. Review may take several days and you will receive an email when the decision is complete. If you were declined, you can apply again in 45 days. If declined and you believe it is an error, contact Bilt support at support@card.bilt.com.
